Most people who arrive in my town travel over the Long Bridge. The drive provides a sensation of floating over clear, deep water surrounded by tree bedecked mountains. It has been said that there is an "ah" factor associated with the Long Bridge. Newcomers are overwhelmed by the majesty of the scenery. They find it impossible not to say, "Ah, how lovely." Locals who cross the bridge sigh and say, "Ah, I can't believe I live in such a glorious place."
It is my prayer that those who read my work and hear my talks will experience an "ah" factor. Perhaps, "Ah, I never saw it that way before." or, "Ah, I've had the same feeling!."
The need to write compels me. It is my ministry, my passion and my joy. I embrace several genres of writing, yet, there is one thread that weaves itself strongly through my body of work. It is the thread of commitment. I am committed to penning words that bring hope and joy, laughter and tears, conviction and comfort. It is my deepest desire to bring you closer to the nature of God in my writing and speaking, even if the word "God" isn't anywhere to be found on the page.
Blessings.
